Saturday Funday at GBE!

Saturday Funday at GBE!

We had a busy day at the workshop on Saturday with a number of different cars and kits to be playing with. A few highlights of the day include:

VW T4 Van Remap

This van came in from one of our friends for a quick remap to blow the cobwebs out and get the best out of the engine. Not the usual day-to-day, but certainly something we're more than happy to do for you; if you've got a van that could do with a remap, get in touch to book in for a session.  We see gains of up to 40bhp on T4 and T5 vans.

Audi S5 Power Run

Every once in a while you get a car on the dyno that is a joy to work with. We call it the "one in ten" - for every ten cars we work with, one of them will go so perfectly, it's less work and more admiration. This was definitely a "one in ten"; a beautiful car that produced one of the best power graphs we've ever seen. In fact, our mates at Retro Resus who remapped the car and did the upgrades agreed it was a "one in ten" for them, too!

The S5 made it on to our powerboard, slotting in at 7th place and pushing our own James' Impreza classic down a notch to 8th place (sorry Jimbo!). Check out this beauty of a graph:

The Return of Rusty

We got to catch up with our old pal Rusty, the Ford Pop drift car we first got to meet back in October last year

Tom bought Rusty back into us for its final mapping session with its Link Monsoon ECU, getting everything ship-shape (or rather, car-shape) for the new drift season. Rusty's looking better than ever - how cool is this paint scheme?
