ECU vs Standalone Boost Controllers
In this blog, we are going to look at Link ECU boost control vs standalone boost controllers such as the Blitz DSBC and Apexi AVCR. What are the benefits of using ECU boost control over a standalone? In short, the decision comes down to what ECU you have. If you are running a Link ECU and have a 3 port boost solenoid, like a Mac here, there is no reason to not let the ECU do its job. If, on the other hand, you are running a stock ECU, then perhaps a stand-alone boost controller is a good idea. We have a video...
May 2018 Round Up
It's Roud Up Time! We'll be taking a look back at May and briefly talking about our visit to Castle Combe for JDM Combe (yes I know this was June 2nd!) As promised here is the video of the amazing yellow Mk2 Escort: The car made good power and my goodness what a soundtrack. I (James) was never a fan of the 4 Cylinder NA sound but this car might have changed that. The throttle bodies help a lot but when the car comes on at 4000 rpm it sounds amazing. Our next car was a bit of a...

Now, well, I'm not sure what it is! What I...

April 2018 Roundup
Time for another roundup! This time we look back at April and look forward to some of the cool cars we'll be working on in May. We had new powerboard leaders in both 4WD and 2WD. In 2WD we had this awesome Supra in; we hope to see this car again once the slight misfire is fixed: In 4WD we had an awesome Evo 9; you can read all about the car in this post. We also had a PS13 drift car in for a Link ECU and mapping session. This car is an awesome colour and made decent power, thanks to...
